destination wedding photographer zurich

  1. Where are you based and do you travel for weddings outside of Switzerland?
I live in Zurich most of the year, and travel all over Europe for weddings. And I usually spend January to March in Cape Town, so if you’re getting married in South Africa around this time, let me know! I love shooting weddings in my hometown.
  2. Do you also speak German?
‘Es bitzeli’. I can get by, but I understand more than I speak.
  3. Where do I find your pricelist?
If you’d like to book me, please get in touch via the contact form above – I’d love to hear a bit about you, your wedding and what you’re looking for. I’ll send you a customized offer within the next 48 hours. Wedding packages start from 2700 CHF. Portrait sessions start from 520 CHF.
  4. How long does it take to get my pictures?
About 2 weeks after the wedding I’ll send you a small selection for you to use on your thank you cards. It takes about 6-8 weeks till they’re all beautiful edited and ready to be uploaded to your online gallery, and about 10 weeks till you get your USB.
Portraits sessions are ready in 3-4 weeks.
  5. Who owns the copyright?
The copyright will stay with me, but you have the rights to print and share your pictures as you wish. I just ask that if for some reason you should want to use them for commercial purposes, you ask me first.
  6. How much time should we set aside for couple portraits on the wedding day?
Your couple portrait session is usually the only “you” time you’ll have away from the whirlwind of your day, so make the most of it! I suggest setting aside a minimum of 45 – 60 minutes for your photos (taking into account any travelling time to or from locations) so you can relax and enjoy the moment before getting back to your guests.
  7. Will you take formal family / group photos on the day?
Sure, I’m happy to take some formal group photos, but suggest that these are limited to around 5-7 pictures. This way I have more time to capture natural, genuine portraits of you and your guests enjoying themselves.
  8. Do you also do albums?
I do! You can find out more info about them right over here. Albums can be added to your packages, and are usually designed and printed once wedding season is over (Nov-March).
  9. Do you hold dates without a deposit or signed contract?
Unfortunately not. A booking fee and a signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. A week prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.
  10. What kind of photography equipment do you use?
I’m a Nikon girl! I shoot mostly with a Nikon D4s and a selection of prime lenses. I always have back up equipment with me as well in case of emergencies.
